It’s a 200 mile relay race

It’s the only answer I can think of when people would ask me what Ragnar is. Well, do you run it all by yourself?

No. That’s silly. I get to run it with 11 of my good friends.

We run from Huntington Beach to Coronado Island in around 32 hours. We eat and sleep in a van and by your third leg of running you’re wishing that you never agreed to such a crazy event. But it’s all worth it once you’ve finished and you can say that you’ve run over 200 miles from HB to San Diego. (If you leave out the relay part then maybe people will assume you did it all by yourself and that you’re like Superman or something)

Our team name is Zombie Bait. The idea is that we’re all running from Zombies in a post apocalyptic world (of course). It should motivate you to run as fast as you can, or at least faster than the slowest runner. I think it worked and that our team did an amazing job.

Here are some of the pictures from the race. I can’t wait to do it again next year!
